Default Do any of you guys do buy trips?

Posted By: Paul Grubor

I travel the state of Wisconsin every other weekend in search of rare cards or memorabilia. I just started this venture and so far have done very well.
I've only been to Platteville and Manitowoc with a trip planned this Saturday to Port Washington. I run an ad in the local paper on Wednesday or Thursday and usually set up at a Super 8 or Country Inn on Friday or Saturday. My cost is below $200.00 and its pretty damn exciting. I picked up a Rose Rookie that graded out a PSA 8 and I also picked up some beautiful 1960 Topps cards. An older person had an Ed Rousch bat from the 20's..(not game used) that was very heavy. Another person had a 55 Dodgers ball missing Campy and Koufax. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you do these buy trips?

Paul
