Default is it worth $1.29 to find out if these are real?

Every bone in my body tells me these are fakes but the guy does sell a lot of vintage cards, many graded, which of course begs the question that if he knows these are legit in this nice of shape, why wouldn't they be graded and why risk selling them for pennies? Or why wouldn't he at least put something more in the copy than "EX condition." ????

Hi Bob

Your bones seem like very accurate soothsayers to me.
I'd go get a Cinnabon.

His feedback does look good; looks like the negatives have come lately, though---the last one indicating he wouldn't provide a refund.
Further, as you note, his description is a bit too pithy for my tastes
and trust.

My bones feel funny now.

Best

Barry Arnold

They are the mini that were reprinted...when you enlarge the scan you can tell they are the small reprints. Bob, you know better...stay away.

watching them swirl around the bowl is guaranteed to be more entertaining than buying a lot of reprints, regardless of price.

Or better yet, if you want to get rid of some money, give to the Red Cross...

The mini set was a sub-set of the original CJs, mostly (if not all) HOF'ers.

If you buy the cards using Paypal, and they are reprints, can you use paypal to get your money back if the buyer will not issue a refund?

Standard answers: "I guaranteed they were original, not whether or not they have been altered," "I guaranteed they were 1915 Cracker Jacks not Cracker Jacks issued in 1915," "These cards are for educational purposes only," "Because of ebay policies, since they aren't graded they are sold as is" etc. ad nauseum.
The problem I have with them is that they are glossy as hell and if the guy sells graded cards he would know that he could get a fortune for them if they were graded, why let them go for $1.29? This isn't someone who found them in her great uncle's crawlspace but rather a guy who deals in cards and is knowledgeable about the ins and outs.
