Default Louisville "Scrap" Bats

Over on the memorabilia forum I posted about these "scrap" bats that have found there way outside the confides of the Louisville factory. The gentleman is trying to sell them to me as a huge lot as you can see from the pictures. Huge lot indeed! They are mixture of ash and oak. Make some barstools for that mancave. How about a table with baseball bat legs? Cut them down the middle and mount flat to a wall as art. Many possibilities here. Several collectors have already PM'd me with purchases. Thanks guys. I prefer to sell a large lot of these (10-25+) at a time but will sell however you would like. $12 each or take 4 or more at $10 each paypal gift. I don't think that unreasonable after a fellow net54 member pointed out a blank billet is $29.99 at Woodcraft. How many can I send your way?

Found 2 professional model double stamped bats in the lot. One should have went to Jenrry Mejia of the NY Met and the other should have went to Andrew Clark of the TX Rangers. Every stamp on one side of the bat is duplicated on the other side. Pretty cool I posted them over on the game used BST

Hey Michael. I'm going to talk to my dad this weekend about doing a project with these. No promises but if he's willing I'll probably take some. I'll get back to you Sunday evening.

Chris

Interesting project with very little woodworking experience needed. I purchased a bat already that will be included in my project, Home Depot has for sale on wooden adirondack chair for $38, using the back of the chair, 6 bats screwed onto the existing back panels, as for the arm 2 bats needed, total bats 8. I will
Post pics when I'm done
Mike

Prices aren't postage paid at $10 a bat but if anyone wants a larger quantity let me know and I will give you my best deal and probably eat some of the postage cost.
Thanks, Michael
