Default T206 Hindu SL Sub Set Complete!

Hey Guys,

Very happy to say my 34th and final Hindu SLer arrived in the mail today. I owe many thanks to several Board members... some who sold me cards, others who pointed me in the right direction, and others who provided me with information and answers to my many questions.... Thanks to Jeff Williams, Chris, Johnny, Jeremy, Jason, Michael S, Jim R.. Derek, and a few others.

This was a 10 month Journey... started in July 2012. I acquired 13 in 1 large lot last July and with a third of the set complete already... I decided to give it a try. I was able to find the next 10-15 cards without too much trouble on ebay, auction houses, and the BST... once I got down to the last 6-7 it was a real struggle... Foster, Thornton, Scoops, Violat, Bernhard, and Paige were among the toughest... Many of these the only one I saw for sale throughout the last 10 months was the one I ended up buying.. I only saw about 12-15 come up for sale again throughout the 10 month span.

The condition of the Set is as follows:
Authentic: 2
PR: 15
FR: 6
GD: 3
GD+: 3
VG: 3
VG+: 1
VG-EX: 1

Thanks again to all who helped me tackle this challenge. they fit in the new display nicely..

Jaime, that is a great set, but what is really amazing is that you can go after these Hindus, a Seymour back run, some other random oddities, and pick up a Cobb/Lenox at the same time.

Default Awesome!

Awesome job Jamie! Its been fun watching you put together this subset so quickly, even if you outbid me on more than one occasion. They look great. What's next?

Default Jamie....

YOUR OUTTA CONTROL

In a good way

CONGRATS!

great accomplishment....your collection is becoming world class, if it isn't already...extremely well rounded and diversified as any....a true "T206" blue chip portfolio.....Super Rare backs, variation, ghosts, oddities, sick runs, super tuff subsets like this....Drum Cobb,Lenox Cobby, freaky ghosts , multi strikes....lions and tigers and bears OH MY!

I'm very envious of some of your cards....you have tackled some really tuf feats with the monster... and just hope i'm in your will(or vice versa)

you've come a long way, and have really put together one helluva collection , WOW

i'm very proud of some of your accomplishments and world class taste in the set that haunts me
