Just wanted to Thank all that participated in the December auction, whether as a consignor or bidder. The Auction exceeded my expectations and was very pleased with the overall results. The invoices should be out by early afternoon if you have not gotten yours.

The January Auction is scheduled to start on the 17th. I look forward to everyone's participation.

Happy New Year

Lee

Thanks for another good auction Lee. I was happy to get the Nadja miscut back card.

Default January Consignment Deadline

The last day for consignments to be received would be on the 15th, always nice to have consignments as early as possible.

Thanks

I'm happy with my very cheap N172 Ward...though venturing into a new century isn't the best idea I've ever had ;-)

I was surprised by the t206 factory 42 Schaeffer...2,500 for a vg common? Where'd I put my stack of rare backs (oh right).

Thanks to Lee for getting me off the disavowed list!

Speaking of the disavowed list, I have had a few more people notify me that they had not received outbid notices. Check your spam filters, I sent out a notice about 10 days ago that many emails were in sometime of spam filter, if you were in this filter you would have got a notice and you had to reinvite yourself if you wanted to continue getting notices from Sterling. Any questions please ask.

Thanks

Lee

I agree. I was hoping to bid on the factory 42, but it flew way out of my price range. I think it was a combination of the rarity of the particular player with a Piedmont 42 as well as the fact that it was in really decent shape.

Great auction again, Lee. I got outbid on the e98 Jennings, but I picked up the t206 Willis and Flanagan. Guess I'm full force on the Monster now!

Participated in my second Sterling Auction and once again had a great experience at reasonable prices, added 3 T206 Cycles and a Sovereign.

Always enjoy Sterling's monthly offerings.
Have won lots in every Sterling auction from Brian's initial one to Lee's current ones.
On Thursday, won 16 lots consisting of 27 cards. Nothing rare or high $ for me,
but its always fun opening the box with a variety of vintage cards.

That was my first Sterling auction and it was a quite a blast. Got outbid on two T202's (which is probably my favorite set since it combines artistic renditions of players plus old action shots) but such is life. Ended up with these three. I love "weird" stuff so had to jump on the matchbooks. If only I could expand my entire HoF collection at $20 a pop. As for the Dickey, I like cards that show catchers in their full gear and cards that show players smiling so this combines the best of two worlds.

I just want to give a public thank you to Lee B for the great service. His auction ended less than 4 days ago, and my mailman delivered my winnings to me this morning in Texas.

That is some Great Service from Lee, especially considering the time of the year!!!

Christmas has arrived! Got my cards in the mail today. I can't wipe the stupid grin off my face. My pre-war collection has grown from 1 to 5 now.

To reciprocate Steve's sentiments, thanks Lee for the auction and sending out the winnings so quickly despite the holidays.

Happy new year everyone!

Positive feedback to Lee again. Paid on Saturday and cards (2 T206) arrived today...it doesn't get any better than that.

Received consignment check today, meaning it was sent out days ago from Minnesota. One week to get paid? WoW. I am accustomed to it taking a month. Either that or the guys forget and I have had to call them.

So a good price on my consignment (33% better price than same card went for in major auction house last summer), low BP, and received check one week after auction.

Thanks Lee!

Lee is a class act and I would bid more in his auctions if he had what I was looking for. Unfortunately,my focus is so narrow that it is hard t come up with new cards. You can bet if he has something that I want, would not hesitate to bid.

Default WOn one lot of 58'a

at a very reasonable price; due to my forgetfullnes, check went out late this week.

It was funny, when Leon and myself were having lunch a few weeks ago -- we started talking about auctions and almost simultaneously we started mentioning bidding in this auction.

For anyone that happens to be interested. I am meeting up with Pete Ullman on Sunday to go to the Monthly show at Har Mar Mall, don't expect much vintage but wanted to to do a little footwork for Sterling. If anyone is in the area and would like to meet up with us, please respond.

Thanks to all for the kind words, I have all Paypal orders shipped as of Friday afternoon payments. If you have paid by Paypal and have not received a shipping notice make sure it is claimed, if not check your payment address.

The january auction starts on the 17th,

Lee Behrens
