Default eBay Magie

Final sale on the eBay Magie PSA 2.5 just closed last night around $9k.

Was it someone on the board that picked it up?

I was watching that. One came out here locally recently that changed hands for $10K. Which begs the question...what would a low end 1 or A go for?

Yeah, I had a bid in at 5k which I knew was extremely low ball for the current mrket...

But I was a little nervous about the seller. Haven't ever bought from them before, and they stated it was a consignment which always makes me nervous with a possible 3rd party scamming behind the scenes. So that was the maximum risk I was willing to take on it.

A little surprised that the seller basically got auction value for it through eBay. Doesn't say great things for the future of the auction houses, with a 10% commission and a 18-19% BP, if quality sellers can get auction prices on eBay, then the world changes quickly

I know it looks brighter in the scan, but there is a PSA 2.5 is the current REA auction that is already at $11K, pre-vig, which is $13+K with juice.

Given that this sold for "only" $9K -- it seems like a relative bargain as compared to the REA example.

Is it just me or my monitor? How come those letters on the caption look kind of weird in size. Especially the "M", they look like they were somehow compressed from top to bottom and look wider than regular t206 captions.

Very much agree. I don't know this person, but I have had a lot of nice transactions in the past.

Agh. I should've asked. But I didn't want to draw attention to it...thought maybe it would fly under the radar, can't imagine peopkeoften search for that Magie on eBay.
