Default Bl 460

4k is a super deal if the card is not trimmed. Looks fine to me. Someone got a nice deal.

looks like a bit of creasing but a very nice example and a steal at 4k.

Default 460bl

I'm with Toby and Jim---a beautiful card and a super deal.

After looking at Jim's display of his backs, this one doesn't amaze me quite as much as it typically would.

all the best,
barry

there was a SGC 30 a 2 on ebay some time ago that went for 3.5k and this one looks like vg-ex with a perfect back-if this was in REA-easy 6k-no telling what would happen on ebay. There was a day where you could let this ride on ebay but those days are over.

also the cardtarget 460s that were grade 2s went for just over 3k to 3.5k

Collectors are starting to realize how tough these really are.Too bad they aren't looked at like the Wagners-what would a vg-ex Wagner bring?

I have only one Broadleaf 460, a PSA 4. I wouldn't sell it for 4k. This card might get a 4.

Scott,
If you've still got that 4k burning a hole in your pocket you could shoot me an email.

Fascinating. And so much for my thoughts of completing a set of backs. I'm guessing even an sgc 10 would be out of my range.

If you check the updates at the bottom of his listing, the seller had no idea what he had until he received the deluge of "would you be willing to end the auction early and sell that card to me" emails:

On Feb-03-10 at 06:49:48 PST, seller added the following information:

Broad Leaf 460 set.

Apparently, incredibly rare!

On Feb-04-10 at 04:50:04 PST, seller added the following information:

Again.....this is the incredibly rare Broad Leaf 460 Set Back!

Impossible to find!

Hi Jim R,

The one I have is Murphy Batting in PSA 4. My sample of a BL 350 is Chief Meyers Fielding in PSA 4.

Apparently the sale fell through with the original buyer... I was contacted yesterday by the seller... and although it was at a higher price.. I was given a 2nd chance to buy the card......I decided to take it.. even though it was over my budget....

Because this card was so expensive...I was looking to see if anyone would be interested in "upgrading" their BL460..

Please email me or PM me if you would like to trade your low grade BL460 and some cash for this example... I will start a thread on the BST for future communications on this..
