Default 1929 Exhibits Our Gang/Hal Roach's Rascals

Posted By: Holstein

I picked up a large lot of exhibit cards. Many 1928 boxers - most of them are currently being graded by SGC (including Braddock). Also a bunch of interesting 1928 Cowboy cards. Unfortunately, no baseball players. If interested in 28 Boxing or the Cowboy cards, shoot me an email. The 28 boxers and Cowboy cards are in great shape.

Included in the lot were a group of 1929 Our Gang/Hal Roach's Rascals Exhibits. The lot was pulled directly from an exhibit machine, so they are in overall vg-ex condition. The card in the attached scan has a ding in the upper right - that is about as bad as any in the group. Most are ding free and merely have rubs on borders or slight corner touches. However, they are not pristine, as some probably bumped around in the machine and some were probably handled roughly before being loaded in the machine. Obviously, scans of representative cards are available upon request. I have never seen examples as nice as these anywhere.

Anyway, I will sell for $25 a card or 700 for set of 30. Before purchasing the lot, I asked an exhibit expert how much these go for and I was told 10-30 per card. These are in much nicer shape than any I have ever seen anywhere else - and I have never seen more than a few at a time. I can put together two groups of thirty different cards. I believe the full set has 32 cards, but there is not much about these cards anywhere.

I will cover boxed delivery for any number of cards. Please respond to my email address - first to email will have first priority to purchase. Payment by paypal must include an extra 3% - checks are fine.

SOLD 1 SET of 30. Contact me via email as I have a selection of cards, but can't put together too many sets of 30 different.
