Appreciate it. I knew that someone here would be able to sort it out. I know little about the strip cards and the advertising on the reverse threw me. |

Interest scan you found on the web. The card is missing one of the color runs. Notice the bottome of the card is missing teh grass/tree line and the face is lacking in color |

Ya'll are right....the reason I said it was a W512 was because the printing is the same at the bottom and the "look" of the player in the SCD had the same type pose......I like the back and if you want to sell it let me know, Greg......later |

I just won one, now you have a recent acution for a rough value of the card. I am not sure if the stamp would increase or decrease the value. I would trust that it would increase it for the type collectors out there, since it appears to be a product from that period. |

I've heard of Wool's American Maid ads on back, but never inspected one to see if the back ad was truly vintage. Get out your 10X loupe and check to see whether the ink on back was added before or after the creases occurred. Remember some years back when Alan Hager tried to flog off a bunch of 1923 "Neilson's Chocolates" that were really just W572 with a latter-day ad printed on back? If you want me to look at the card, drop me an e-mail. |

Then do you mind if I steal your scans for a listing in the SCBC? I'll even let you suggest the pricing structure based on your purchase. |

By all means, please use the scans. Not sure what kind of information to provide as to pricing. I bought the card from someone who knew as much about it as I did and did not pay much. |

would be 3X-4X the W551 value, though the first example publicly sold will probably bring more. |

Seat of your pants estimate Bob. You were real close on the final auction price on this card. I never would have guessed! $521.00... |
