Default T206 Ghost Image Pricing Down?

I just won REA lot #341 which was a T206 Del Howard that had a ghost back for $720. Happy with the price and the card.

https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com...e?itemid=46252

I was just informed this same exact card sold in the 2015 Spring REA lot #317 for $2,280.

Did the market drop off that much or was it just a bidding war last auction?

I love these snowflakes and will continue to buy. Just curious peoples opinion and would love to see some Ghosts.

Thanks.

Rare and unique cards/items often times have super thin markets. Take one bidder out of the equation and there can be a drastic price swing.

I think the market dropped. I know a few collectors who used to chase these but no longer do and that has hurt things. I still think they are great cards. I don't have a T206 ghost but do have these two.
