Default 1874 The Youth's Companion Baseball Ad

I picked up a book that is news papers for the year of 1874 bound together and found an ad for a baseball. Thought you might like to see it.

That's great Dynarl. As far back as 1874 Base Ball was already considered our National Game and "Nearly every boy in the country aspires to pitch, catch, and bat well."

Just think about that... that was printed 137 YEARS AGO!

How cool is that.

Thanks Carlton & Jimmy! Looking through the papers and seeing how people lived put a whole new perpective on how baseball became the National Game.
