Mike, that was actually my card and David Slomer bought a bunch of 254's from me. The card is 100% legit and actually nicer than those scans show...

Mike--I did not take it as an insult in any way; think quite a few on here a bit uneasy with CTA when probably few have used them. Keep in mind it'd be darn tough to trim a circular disc unnoticed. I looked at all his listings after the last post and all the Colgans he has listed came from me. All are legit and all are nicer than the scans. Good luck should you bid and again, I did not take your legitimate question as any type of insult..

Dave, It's very nice, but difficult to tell... Is it creased?

..is my description per my listing:

TEN HOF'ers from this set being listed tonight, here's the Star of the Show! ALL AUTHENTIC and ALL SLABBED!! As the attached "report card" shows, this card was graded by CTA on Nov 3, 2000. A new company then, still in existence today. I WILL GUARANTEE that this card will cross to SGC, PSA or whomever you desire..no signs of ANY altering; and truly doubt that it would be remotely possible to even trim a round disc! Not here anyway! Graded as "4 VG/EX", this is the "PittsburgH CURVED LETTER" variation. A VERY light hairline between the "e" and "r" of "Wagner", light staining, and light edge wear, LIGHT! The reverse nicely-centered for an E254, again light gum stains. But great imagery and visual appeal, a strongly registered Honus..the same mug as the infamous T206! Except this one's attainable! A great card, a great investment!
