For these 3 cards in the 1933 Goudey set, just curious if they are single prints, double prints, etc,... ?????

Andy Cohen #52
Charles "Buddy" Myer #153
Morris "Moe" Berg #158

Thanks.

All 239 - 1933 Goudeys were essentially equally printed. The
Cohen card is in the first series of which were printed on
"crude" cardboard. To find a really nice condition one is some-
what tougher than cards above #55 (or so); which were printed
on higher quality cardboard.

Moe Berg is a special card. Everyone wants this card because
he was such a "mysterious" character with a great life story.
Also, I believe this Goudey card is his rookie.

Myers should not be tough to find.

These three cards aren't especially tough to find in low grades. But in the higher grades, they are tougher. the best way I look at it is in terms of PSA grades from 6 thru 8. The average 1933 Goudey card has a pop of 15 for PSA 6, a pop of 17 for PSA 7 and a pop of 12.6 for PSA 8.

Average PSA 6 / 7 / 8 : 15 / 17 / 12.6
Myers 13 / 12 / 7
Berg 12 / 21 / 17
Cohen 10 / 6 / 5

Myers is a little tough. Cohen is extremely tough (a PSA 7 would go for $2000 probably). Berg is not that tough, but he's very popular!

Offhand I can think of at least one earlier card: 1929 Kashin Publications (R316).

Alan, these are a bit tougher for the exact reason you are looking for them. They are collected by set collectors and Jewish player collectors. As stated here, the Cohen is very tough in high grade. Berg is available often and very popular as Ted stated. dan.
