Default HELP with card ID???

Posted By: Richard LLOYD

HI..
I have a card that is black and white and blank backed
and is marked underwood & underwood.. at the bottom of the card it is marked Bradford & co. Pub. St. Joseph Mich... the name on the card is Wm. E. Donovan Mgr, New York Americans... It is not in the Krause 2005 Catalog and I do have a Scan but can not figure out how to post..
The card is stiff and glossy but is not made of traditional bb card stock..
thoughts from someone.. If someone has thoughts I can email them the pic..

best
Dick

A D381 Ferguson's Bakery card or I also have an uncat Ruth Exhibit-looking card that I got from Lew. He didn't know what it was and neither do I. The Ferguson's is thinner "paper-like" and the Ruth is on thicker cardboard....a scan would help a lot....regards

I got your pics and they are of a common D381 Fleischmanns Bakery card with the Underwood and Underwood copyright on it. The way you can tell is that the Fleischmanns will have 2 lines below the pic and the Fergusons will have 1 line...as you can see on the scans I posted. Smokey Joe is a Fergusons and Honus is a Fleischmanns..... I would post your pics but they are far too large (1mb and 995K) for me to do. A common without a tab is approximately $50-$150, imo....take care
