Can anyone tell me if the seller and bidder look familiar?

First of all I for one would not bid on an item with a picture that crappy. Second seller and bidder are probably the same person. Shill Bidding. Rob

I'm guessing the seller and the buyer are Siamese twins joined at the "S!"

I think that the card could be a reprint. It's hard to tell by the crapy scan and I'm no expert. Any opinions?

Notice the seller doesn't show the PSA label.

I'm thinking this card is from 1999 when Topps reprinted Nolan Ryan's cards. They did regular and "Finest" versions - this one is the Finest version.

I can't believe this moron shilled his auctions using a name with only one letter difference.

Not the brightest bulb in the lamp shop.

Scarecrow,
This is NOT an authentic 1968 Topps Ryan/Koosman rookie card. The most tell-tale sign is that the card is covered in an embossed foil. It was not a reprint intended to decieve, but is most likely an insert card from one of the more recent Topps issues. As for whether or not th seller is engaged in some shill bidding, I think the answer to that is obvious. So obvious in fact, that I think I'll file a complaint with eBay right now.

I agree that it appears to be of those Topps 'Finest' reprints with the Finest embossed metalic-like finish.

You guys are right, definitly a foil reprint and no sign of the PSA label or holder. I hope the winner pays themselves the $530 and if they don't they should leave a negative feedback.

Just filed a complaint with eBay about this seller. So in addition to assuming that this Finest reprint is worth hundreds, the seller also seems to lack common-sense as well. I don't think there's a dunce cap in the world big enough for this moron.

how many others actually bid on this item with such a crappy scan etc. . .if bidders took the time to be educated prior to bidding, there would be a lot less whiners of being duped and make it harder for scamers to hoodwink collectors.

Note that the seller won the auction for over $500. New to shilling, apparently.
