Default WTB: 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson

Well centered - solid registration - fairly solid specimen of cardboard

I've seen everything on eBay.

Thanks

Gorgeous card. It's a little OC for me, but still ridiculous.

Technical grade can be lower, as long as it has strong eye appeal.

I'll be scouring the floor at The National in hopes of landing one at a fair price.

good luck!

I am going as well, and hope to find at least one card at a fair price! Not sure if that will happen, but will most certainly be a blast!

Yea...hard to say something is "fair" price when it consistenly goes for higher than retail....

Last time I had a '48 Jackie on Ebay...I had about 10 people trying to low ball me. One guy was trying to bundle all sorts of cards to get it. While they were playing around, someone went ahead and hit the BIN (which I thought was a fair price...apparently the low ballers didn't think so). One guy expressed dismay, and thought we were hammering out a deal for his "bundle". I flat out told him - if something is "FAIR" priced, you need to go ahead and hit the BIN...no hemming and hawing. Especially on HOT cards!

I'd to find a centered one myself, in the 2-4 grade, love the color of this card.

I recently acquired one and it's my favorite card at the moment. Bought a raw beauty...had to pay strong....got it graded...got a 2.5..not for sale but posted in July pickups.

My guess is you will have to pay strong to get one with great eye appeal, no matter the grade...
