Default N284 Buchner Gold Coin Definitive Guide?

Is there a definitive guide for Buchner Gold Coins out there somewhere on the web or in print? I'm just wondering a few things about them... any back rarity differences... tough cards, etc.

I'm also curious about size. I have two examples with two different backs. They are both thick stock cards but one is noticeably thicker than the other. Just looking to verify that is "normal."

Lew Lipset's old baseball card encyclopedia covers them pretty well.

Yes! these were the backs of the baseball subjects, though the N284 jockeys, actors & police chiefs share the same backs.
The Buchner N288 Police Chiefs is a larger card w/ a different back, but its a totally different issue.
