Default Any Vintage Error & Variations Collectors Out There?? (scan heavy)

When it comes to collecting vintage errors and variations I am an absolutely obsessed person. I seek these out the way other people search the earth for gold. Since I still have some major cards needed to complete my sets, I figured I'd offer up some of these rarities in trade for hits off of my need list. Take a look at the scans and LMK if you have any questions. There are a few 1966 and 1967 cards missing the 'sold/traded/optioned' statements on back, there are the ridiculously tough to find 1966 'partially airbrushed' button on Landrum's pants and the holy grail of all variation cards, the 1967 'partially missing name' Spiezio. The rare times these come up on ebay they sell for some serious money. Besides those, there are a bunch of variation checklists from a few different years, a ton of 1962 'green tints' and other errors from that set and a wide variety of other listed and unlisted variations from the 60's up to 1971.

To see all the scans, check out this page of my bucket: http://s1226.photobucket.com/albums/...%20Variations/

These cards are all in pretty nice shape for the most part, but some run the gamut of conditions. I only scanned in the better looking ones and I have multiples of some of these cards.

If anyone is interested in anything, I'm looking for cards off of my need list (below) or possibly starter sets in ex+ shape of 1954 Bowman, 1958 Topps and 1964 Topps Stand-Up cards. I prefer to trade for cards of similar value and before you ask, no, I'm not looking to sell anything at this time. Sorry.

My Need List:

***1957*** (ex. or better, will consider vg if not too bad)
1 (Williams), 284 (Zimmer), 286 (Richardson), 328 (Robinson), 407 (Mantle/Berra) & All Checklists

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Default variants

If it is Topps and listed in SCD I have it, icluding the recently listed 52 variations for Mantle, Robinson and Thompson. Also collect non listed stuff for many years now. Another guy on this board, Doug G also has a great deal of experience in this area. There are several good threads in this area in the 54 post war section. More than willing to carry on dialog in this area on or off board. If on suggest the post war forum

Darren - Do you have an interest in vintage wrong backs? I have 2 1954 Bowman and 1 1941 Play Ball. If so, send email to jct43@embarqmail.com for
scans and pricing. One '54 is raw and the other two cards are graded. Charlie

Hi,
I am also a bit of a nut regarding errors and variations. I have tried to assemble a master list of them for Bowman (1948-1955) and Topps (1951-1972), and I have this posted on a subpage of my wantlist webpage...
https://sites.google.com/site/richarddingmancards/
Click on links at main page bottom. I try to keep this updated with newer discoveries that emerge and have scoured all available resources for the last few years to condense into this list. If you get a chance to view it, would love to get comments/corrections/additions from anyone else similarly afflicted with the variation bug.
I don't have many to trade at this point, a few '62 greenies (still need one more myself) and a handful of other common variations.
Best to contact me through my email brightair@msn.com as I don't often get to visit here and am not sure of all site protocols (like, what is bump?).
Richard
