Hopefully the power will be restored soon. That is a beauty of a Cobb. Here is one of my favorites of Cobb.

I love that Blue Background m116! A highly underrated card, in my opinion.

Jeff - is there any gas by you? Would be willing to trade cards for gas.

Nice cards guys!

LOL no gas anywhere. But I have 3/4 of a tank and am not going anywhere far. I might need a gun soon, however. Power won't be back for about a week at least it seems.

That's a long time without power, Jeff. For that M116 Cobb above I think I have some friends in the NY area with a generator. How big of a generator for the Cobb?

I've got a full-house generator the size of a car which has been up for 7 full days now. It's got about another 6 to run so at some point this week I'll need to find a propane truck to visit me. I can't imagine what people (half my town) are dealing with knowing that there is no end in sight for us.

I have connections with a propane company!! (and a thousand gallon tank in my backyard, for my own house, but that might be cumbersome to transport)

Send propane. No need to wrap the present.

I have a 1000 gallon tank as well although after this debacle I'm getting a second one. That will cover me for a month. Oh, and a gun, I'm getting a gun.

That guy doesn't need guns. Most people would mistake him for an actual Bear, and leave his guitars alone.

Would that be Strickland Propane? You are near Arlen, right? Don't tell me you buy from Thatherton Fuels. They're a bunch of crooks!

I am near Allen.....never heard of Arlen...though some have mistaken Garland for Arlen. I buy from Red River Co-Op. They seem to be the cheapest. I think last time I paid around 2.25 a gallon...and their minimum is 125 gallons (I think). We only go through around 250 gallons a year as we have most things on electric. Only our (hot) water and stove is on propane.
And here is one of the nicest SGC 40 Matty's ever (there is a wrinkle next to his head)...and a Coombs scrap/ad card....

The Strickland Propane comment was a joke. Do you watch 'King of the Hill'? Strickland Propane is the fictitious company that Hank Hill works for. Arlen is the name of the town (again, fictitious – supposed to be somewhere near Dallas). Their competitor is Thatherton Fuels, known to be sort of crooked.

I guess it didn't go over

As previously stated I am fairly sure Arlen is a play on "Garland"....Yeah, I kind of missed it ....

One of my first Chase cards. I don't know that I've seen once since.

Chris, thanks. I don't think I appreciated how rare this "card" was when I found it. It's one of my favorites as well.

Awesome card Jeff....the centering and bright coloring are top notch, and it certainly offers Near Mint+ aesthetics. Enjoy!

So that mouth-breather is taking dead aim at his possible genitalia and has an SGC graded card propped against the immediate threat. I'm assuming the photographer thought the picture, pose and all, was a swell idea, but did he or she, assumning he, perceive that the fella was threatening to damage his crotch due to some wrongdoing by the cameraman? If not, it's poor firearm safety and that looks like a child's bed.

PS. Very Nice Cobb

You're overthinking a bit.

This is simply what the male of this particular species does, in order to attract a female of the same species.

Sadly, this poor fellow may be one of the last of his kind.
