Photo Help: Ed Sudol

Would anyone happen to have a photograph of Ed Sudol, he was a relative of mine, played minor league ball 1940-53 getting as far as Baltimore in the International League in 1943. Later became an ump in the majors. I'd like to do a baseball card of him but don't have any pictures of him in his playing days, can anyone help?

The hall of fame has a huge library of photos. I am sure if all else fails, just contact them and they will be able to assist you

Per his obituary, as of 2004 he had a daughter living in Florida who had a scrapbook of pictures of him from his ballplaying days. She would be your relative, too, I figure. Maybe you can connect with her?

Thanks, I've used the Hall library before and will check when I get back up there again. I saw the obituary also and am trying to contact her, yes I guess she is a cousin also but have never met her or her father.

I would recommend doing a saved search for him on ebay. They will let you know whenever possible matches come up daily. I realize that could take months or more though, as I would love to have an original photo of my relative Elvin Kink Richards, who played for the N.Y.Giants FB team from 1930-39. Good Luck
