Default O/T - Latest issue of Memories and Dreams is dedicated to cards

Not sure how many board members receive the Baseball Hall of Fame’s publication, “Memories and Dreams,” but the latest issue (Winter 2009) arrived yesterday and it’s almost entirely dedicated to baseball cards.

The T206 Wagner is the cover subject and it looks to have some interesting reading on Jefferson Burdick, the cards in the Hall’s collection, the shops of Cooperstown, etc.

Should make for some nice holiday relaxation – happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

I have been receiving Memories and Dreams for a couple of years now. There's often a good vintage related article and once in a while the whole issue is a keeper. This sounds like one of them. I look forward to getting my copy. Thanks for the heads up.

Memories and Dreams just arrived. Lots of articles that would be right up the alley of board members. I scanned the first page of each card related article and put it on ImageEvent. Wasn't up to scanning the whole magazine but if anybody wants an article in its entirety put a note on this thread and I will get it done. http://tinyurl.com/ybuh9yn

Alan: Rest of article now posted. It was only two pages, as are many of the articles, although a few are longer.

It only costs as little as $40 to be a member of the Baseball HOF and you get the great subscription and year book every year, plus admission to the HOF if you are going. To me a minimum amount to pay even if you don't get the publications.

We all know that the HOF is the great keeper of our beloved sport, a little contribution certainly doesn't hurt to keep the ball rolling.

I bet if you signed up know they would even send you this magazine.
