Soxfan, you may have noticed no one has responded. The guys on this site are a bit snobby when it comes to the newer stuff you are seeking. I think it's cool you want to start that collection. It's your money and your prerogative what you collect. The problem is that the cards you seek were either overproduced (80's to 2000) or anything post 2000 where any one player has 1,000 different "rookie" cards. It's a money grab.
"Woo hooo! I got an Andrew luck patch, swatch, autograph, 1/15, blue tint, NFL logo, atomic refractor, numbered The same as his jersey number!!!"
"Oh yeah??? Well I got the red tint version that's numbered 1 of 5!!!"
It's just stupid. Guys are paying 5k for a Le'veon Bell rookie man! Come on. You can buy yourself a sweet 1935 bronco nagurski graded 4 for that kind of money. Hell, I bought my 1888 Beecher for less than that and only 40-60 of that card (the first football card ever) are known to exist!
It hurts me because I own the rookie card of just about every great player in football history, but I will NOT buy an Andrew luck or even Aaron Rodgers rookie for over a grand! I won't do it. Especially when there are literally 1,000 other "rookie" cards!
My suggestion, and take it for what it's worth, is to get the 100 greatest football players of all time from any book or article you choose (I chose the old Sporting News book) and buy cards starting with a '33 grange and Thorpe (cheaper than some damn Matt forte rookies) through into 2000 or so. I guarantee you that you will will love the old stuff so much, you will be scanning eBay for 1894 Mayo Cut Plug cards before you know it.
Having have said all that, I have quite a bit of the stuff you are looking for. Give me a call. 786-208-3290 Orlando

I hear ya, but I have to say, through private message here in about a weeks time I have been able to knock just about 20 names off the list.
So can't complain about that.
And I do most of my buying on blowout cards or eBay , but I have definitely had success here as well.
Really just a side PC for me, kind of a cheap project to keep me busy until the football offseason. I'm a big tom Brady high end auto collector but only buy in the offseason. Prices generally a lot lower a month or two after the SB.

I will be in touch though, hope we can make a deal.
