looks good. would have rather seen a well known actor in Jackie's roll, however. but should be a good movie, nonetheless.

Looks like a good one, with Harrison Ford and a lot of makeup as Rickey.

Agreed. Jamie Foxx or Terrence Howard would have knocked this role out of the park.

Ben Chapman will likely receive a negative portrayal. Interesting to see how the negative reactions towards Jackie by some players will be treated.

I'm excited about this film. I think going with an relatively unknown actor as Jackie was a good call. He was in the movie The Express.

Cant wait...I believe some of it was filmed in Birmingham, AL at Rickwood Field about 50 miles north of where I live.

The idea was to be able to see Robinson in the role. If you had put a star in there all you would see is Jaime Foxx. I like that they chose a relative unknown.

Not sure if I will spend the money in the theater but a definite rental.
