Default New Member Getting Back Into the Hobby!

Hi Everyone! A couple individuals I've done deals with on eBay and Facebook suggested I join this group. I'm a lifelong Yankees fan that's getting back into the hobby thanks to my three sons (10, 7, & 5).

Been back at it for 6 months with a renewed focus, collecing an autographed rookie card for every Yankee All-Star since it started in 1933. I've got the majority, found some really exciting and rare ones but starting to hit a wall. Hoping you all might be interested in learning more about my projects, scanning my "needs" as well as some items I have for sale. Hoping some of you will be able to help me out!

Projects, Needs, and Items for Sale: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...sjB_7LSYs/edit

If you have something or interested in anything I have listed, reach out to me on Facebook or send me an email (Barry.upbin@yahoo.com).

Welcome and happy hunting. You might find some more or better help in the memorabilia/autograph forum here on net54. Go Yankees! Red Sox suck!

That's one of the most ambitious collecting goals I've ever heard, good luck! This should be a great resource for filling in some of the more difficult to find stuff, and probably better deals than you'll find on eBay and their ridiculous commission. We also like hearing updates on how collections are coming along, so keep us posted!

Barry,
Welcome to NEt54.
If I were you, I would post this to the autograph subsection of the memorabilia forum side. This side is mostly unsigned card focused. Pretty much anything else is grouped in the memorabilia forum.
Lots of good people here. I am sure some will be able to help.
You could also put a post in the autograph BST with what you are looking for.
Best,
Mark

What’s nice is it’s ambitious but focused and attainable, and I love the idea that it’s a “set” that will continue to grow. Seems like the best place to update is on the autograph page based on comments. Looking forward to being an active member of the forum!

Thanks Mark, good to see you on here, enjoyed going through your Flickr pages, one of the collections I’ve ran into that reinforced how “small fry” my stuff is.

No one's collection is small fry vs big fry. We all collect what we enjoy.

Welcome Barry. I'm not an autograph guy, but I look forward to following your journey.

Anyone can ask for anything. It's America. When there is a need it will be filled. So far, you haven't shown there is a need!
.

And to the OP, welcome. That is one significant goal you are going after. Wouldn't it be cool to have one of these signed by each player?
