Just came back from the bank where I rented a large safe deposit box and put all my complete sets and many of my slabbed cards in it. As I complete a set, it goes in the box. I will miss the enjoyment and ease of being able to look at them whenever I want, too much weirdness is going on and I have to admit I have become a tad paranoid. |

I currently keep my more valuable cards in a safety deposit box which is luckily only a few blocks from my home. They don't seem to mind that I come in fairly regularly to pull things out or put things back. I have thought of going Greg's route and getting a huge safe and insurance, but have not done it yet. |

I have had to file 2 claims on my business policy and they paid out immediately and without any hassle. |

I got a rider to my homeowner's insurance policy; however, they suggested that I have pictures of my cards along with an appraisal. Can I pay any dealer on the board a fee to give me an appraisal of my collection? |

Its my understanding that the insurance company used by Greg does not require pictures or an appraisal for personal collections. |

I gave them 2 dated inventory lists (one for business inventory and the other for the personal collection). It included the card issue and player, the grade (since all of my stuff is graded that limited the subjectivity) and the amount I paid for each card. For the personal coverage they require you to schedule seperately any card that cost more than 5k. |
