Default WTB: 1926 Exhibits Fred Spurgeon

The other day a co-worker -- who I've know for 10-plus years -- happened to mention that his grandfather, Fred Spurgeon, played for the Indians in the 1920s. How it took more than a decade for this to come up, I do not know. But I do know I'd like to get my friend a copy of his grandfather's card.

VCP lists Spurgeon's only vintage card as a 1926 Exhibits (Set 5). Granted, VCP isn't always the most acurate when it comes to info like this, but it's a decent starting point.

If you have this card and are willing to sell it, please contact me. Assuming you won't be asking double or triple fair market value, I will not nickel and dime you on price. We should be able to reach an agreement quickly.

Thanks,

Rob

Not his Exhibits cards, but saw this:

I would think it was cool to know that someone was charging $45 for my grandpa's autograph, or that James Spence certified it. He also has a 1926 Major League Die-cuts #37 card.
