1916 Gillette Blue Book, 1918 D&M Catalog Both with Jackson/Cobb/Matty Etc

I have a few nice items that I have had for a while and would like to move into cash or even trade.

First is a 1916 Gillette Baseball Blue Book with Joe Jackson Ty Cobb and more pictured.

This is a 3x6 small sized probably a premium type book. It is 16 pages with tons of stats and photos. There is a page that includes 12 head shots of the 1916 All Star team which includes Joe Jackson, Ty Cobb, Frank Baker, Tris Speaker, Walter Johnson, Grover Cleveland Alexander and more. Includes lots of stats on the 1915 World Series as well as the 1916 Schedule. There is some minor corner wear and creasing. The staples have some minor surface rust. Overall in amazing shape for it's age. $500






Second piece is a 1918 D&M Athletic Goods Catalog With 1917 World Champs White Sox including Jackson as well as many others pictured. I bought this from REA in 1997 or so.

This is a 5.5 X 7.5 64 page book. It has wonderful graphics of a bi-plane flying over a field. Interior pages feature portraits of the 1917 World Champion White Sox including Joe Jackson and all the Black Sox players. Many players are pictured with facsimile autographs and testimonials of D&M equipment. Tons of Hall of Famers are pictured and there is a lot of great content. It shows all types of equipment including bats, catchers mask and more. The cover is bright and nice but has some minor toneing. There are a couple minor dust spots and minor creasing to the corners. The staples have some minor surface rust. $600










Shipping and insurance are covered. Paypal is fine. Will listen to cash and trade offers. Would prefer pre war but will consider 50s-60s Stars as well.
