Default Babe Ruth Donruss Jersey question

I recently purchased a 2005 Donruss Babe Ruth Game used card. The Jersey (or pants) piece appears to be from an away uniform but I don't know for sure.

Does anyone have any guesses to what year this jersey piece could have come from? I know Donruss purchased the 1925 Ruth Home pinstripe in 2003, but this doesn't appear to be cut from that jersey.

Thanks in advance!

They used the same jersey for many years and some issues had a photo on the back. Here is an example posted on BO

That's cool, I appreciate the insight!
Mine doesn't have a picture of the exact jersey on the back (although that would be nice)
Just going off the color of the patch though , I'd say the one you shared was probably cut from the same jersey

They may have strayed away from putting the picture of the actual item on the back of the card, but in 2001 they did for sure. Here is my Hank Aaron from 2001 with front and back.

That Hank Aaron is a cool example too!

Here's a little history I was able to dig up on Donruss purchasing two Ruth jerseys:

In Leyland's May 2023 auction, they purchased a 1925 Home jersey for just over $264,000.
Sometime before that, they must have purchased a different Ruth Road jersey also from Leyland's for $300,000, as quoted in this article from ESPN in 2005: https://www.espn.com/espn/sportsbusi...ory?id=2043622

I can't find any other info on that earlier jersey though...... Anyone have more insight on that?
