Default 1912 Reynoldsville vs Ridgway PA Baseball Championship

I always like the generic, neat looking baseball scenes from the early 1900s. As we have talked about before, generic postcards are affordable and fun to collect. This one is approximately 9 inches long and 3.5 inches high. It never got folded and looks much more clear in person. If anyone wants to show a generic postcard or two, please do..,.AND it was under $100.....

I remember seeing those at a post card show in the Bay Area a couple of years ago. The seller had a box of them. Nice to see they've finally made it to market...Enjoy!...

Mulvane, Kansas team at the train station. The man in the black hat was the umpire. He was over 7' tall. I don't imagine that they had too many arguments.

Here's one with an article and a picture of a deaf pitcher. While not anonymous, let's just say he wasn't as well known as Dummy Taylor.

That's neat Jason. IS the back of it a postcard back? Or is this some kind of newspaper article.

Sorry. Just seeing your reply. Yes, postcard back. This was composed and then taken as a photo and printed on a real photo paper. Similar to how they would do composite images. They must have had the news paper and the photo and put them all together and shot them as one piece. Nothing is glued onto the card. Just a photo.

Here's the back.

I don't usually bump older threads but am this one for a few reasons but mainly because I think the pics are neat. Otherwise, when I was recently putting stuff away I found this postcard (in the first post). I noticed It is much darker in person. So I adjusted the scanner software to be exactly the way it is in hand, scanned it again, and thus the darker scan of it (I made it smaller for easier viewing). The postcard isn't for sale, by any means, but I just thought I would point out a case of adjusting the scan software which I would do, and did do. The goal being that whenever anyone sees it in person, it looks the same as it does on the screen.
