My understanding is that there are several of these in Arkansas.

Nice find.

Edited to add - The best part is that this seller's only feedback is from buying this card for $10.00!

Sad part is, if you look at the sellers feedback he actually paid $10 for the reprint in the first place.

Well at least he only is charging $5 for shipping and handling.

Even that's a profit center. He only paid $3.00 for shipping to get the card.

Am I missing something here?

Howard--

It's pretty obvious the 4 FBack bidder is using an ID that he doesn't care if it gets NARU'D or not.

It's unlikely that he'll get NARU'd. Scammers and cheats like the seller don't usually report being scammed.

There were 3 to my knowledge but one was sold this year as chronicled in a previous thread. That leaves 2.
Suprisingly this goofball lives in the same city as I, I wonder if I can call him and ask if I can come pick the card up if I win it LOL

I have to say the same thing I said about an autographed ball on the memorabilia side: does this nitwit seller actually think that a bidder will come along, study the bids, look at the card, and then place a real bid at around $1.3 million? And then does the seller believe he will get this amount of money deposited in his paypal account without any questions or hassles whatsoever?

My point is what does a seller realistically expect from a scam like this? Does he think that even a single dollar will exchange hands? I have to say I find these listings totally baffling. Only an absolute cretin could think he is going to pull this off without a snag.

I hope he hasn't put a down payment on that brand new Porsche he's had his eye on for awhile now.

One second thought..............I hope he has.

It's funny how eBay pulls my listing when I mention that I accept checks yet they don't seem to catch these obvious scammers.

Yeah - I think that clarifies ebay's position on who they keep an eye out for. One fraudulent transaction would net them a nice chunk of fees, circumventing Paypal would cause them to lose fees.
