markcI would like to broaden the EPDG discussion to ask whether anyone has confirmed each of the possible T206 front / back combinations. Scott Reader included a master checklist in "Inside T206: A Collector's Guide to the Classic Baseball Set", but just because a front / back combination is theoretically possible, doesn't mean that it has actually been seen in the wild.
Taking this one step further, it would be interesting to figure out how many copies of each card exist...particularly of the rarer backs. For example, maybe only a couple of Drum sheets were printed, so perhaps we should only expect a few of each card to exist.
The T-card collectors and dealers on this board have surely had thousands of T206's pass through their hands, and I expect that we could put together a pretty comprehensive list. I would certainly be willing to help pull together the data.
Or maybe it's already been done. Thoughts???
