nbrazilnot to guide you in another direction, but e96's is a nice set to collect...mainly because it doesnt have some of the big names other e sets of that era have (particularly cobb and wagner). on a per card basis, though, this set might cost a little more.
It terms of availability, i feel e98's are easier to acquire. just expect to pay up for the cobb and wagner.
according to oldcardboard, e97s go for about $200 per card while e98's are $160. t204s go for $250. obviously, this is not based on empirical information and might be outdated, but gives you a decent idea of relative rankings according to price.
