Default Not just any old box

Posted By: Keith O'Leary

"box top measures approx 9" x 12"
pack measures approx 3" x 4 1/2"
got it at a NH antique coop....I left offers 3-4 weekends.
Finally, the guy accepted. I never could have afforded his
"list" price.
my guess is I got it somewhere around 1990-1995....
think it's a 1902 item, before the t-206
era. but it sure looks nice, doesnt it ?
I wanted to open one pack, but i was told it would be
blasphemous to do such a thing.....it made sense, as all I'd
get is old tobacco
oh, well...the pics are great....the box is nondescript, but the
inside is a real gem."
The stamps do have a 1902 date and therefore it is doubtful if there are any cards in them. The box is meant to hold more packs but only 8 came with the purchase.
Brian, I've seen the picture that great 500 pack carton but never have I seen a Piedmont tin like this one, looks just like a carton. Is it "paper"ed or "litho"ed? Also a very nice companion / display piece.
