To those of you who have not responded to this thread, rest assured that we recognize that you have probably been more profoundly affected by this massacre than the rest of us.

And I am among those who recognize that this tragedy has resulted in a greater loss of life than Pearl Harbor. And further I applaud the fact that this country's war on terrorism has not followed the same path that our "war on drugs", "war on poverty": war on ... etc. has led us.

And I sincerely regret, and will not forget that the saving of tax dollars resulted in poorer than necessary communications, which could have potentially saved lives of fire personnel, police, and the public.

Its Not Only Gil again.
