I know it's not baseball, but this post-war card pick-up from this year is the favorite card I own. Here is a "Lorenzen with car" card of Fred Lorenzen from the landmark 1972 STP racing set. Lorenzen with car is a legendary rarity in the 11-card set, and racing cards in general.

If this card is not the holy grail of racing cards, it is in the top three or top five. Racing collector Jon Hardgrove over on the non-sport side of Network54 wrote several years ago that he had only previously seen one "Lorenzen with car" card prior to picking up his example a couple years ago.

A lady in Connecticut who I bought some other STP cards from previously told me it took her 20 years of searching before she finally found a "Lorenzen with car" card -- and that one had a thumbtack hole in it.
