Hey guys. I won this photo from Henry Yee and received it in the mail the other day. I've been taking a closer look at it, and I was wondering if anyone could help with the jersey.
I'm not sure if Joe's wearing a Yankees jersey or not. The slug on the back points to the photo being used n September of 1937 prior to the World Series against the Giants.
The photo looks like it was taken either at spring training or perhaps even earlier. The jersey looks similar to the Seals jersey Joe is wearing on his 1935 Clothiers card. I was wondering if any of the experts could tell me if Joe is wearing a Yankees jersey or a Seals jersey.
