Today was Christmas in September for me - the postman brought two 1905-15 gloves, one of which I have been working on all evening and will post pics in the morning - it turned out great
. The UPS lady brought my Cano gamer and 1947 Sam Crawford handwritten letter. On the debit side, spent the afternoon working on my 1956 Yankees ball display, chopping up leather and pressing. So far....not so good
Will post pics of disaster after I recover.

I'm really happy with the Cano gamer - I paid too much, but it was exactly what I was looking for: trademark taped handle, lots of pine-tar, no cracks, old-school wood look. I suspect it's actually a 2006 or 2007 bat that he took one or two hacks with in 2008 for Mr. Steiner, but that's cool with me. I have a Cano baseball he hit a double with, to display with it. I'm banking on him being the all-time doubles leader in ten years.
