If you aren't selling, there is no need to grade. I collected my t206 set before PSA and most are ungraded. My t205 set was missing about 50 when I decided to finish it 4 years ago. I won't buy ungraded cards today and decided to grade everything else for uniformity.
Grading offers another level of frustration. I had 5 cards not graded despite me measuring every card before I bought them. I have cards graded lower than I thought they should, but when I look to upgrade with higher grades, the higher grade is in worse condition. You are better off just enjoying your cards.
