Brian E.Without knowing more about the situation like who signed for the package, I would wait until USPS investigates further. If you insured it for over $50, someone signed for it.
One possible problem is that if the buyer paid via paypal, paypal requires that all packages sent via USPS and valued over $250 requires signature confirmation, certified mail or registered mail.
