What is worth $5K to me may be worth either $1K or $10K to a fellow collector and vice-versa. I know that I have been able to pick up photos in auction for 50% of what I was willing to pay and other photos that I really wanted have gone for 5X what I was expecting. Yes, and in the case of this one in particular, considering both its incredible historical significance and apparent singularity, I don't see how it could be considered overpriced almost no matter what it went for. As I said before, it struck me as a serious bargain.
