Steven, awesome pickups in 2018! I wish I could have a year like you!
So, I'm really late on this, but I've liked doing this every year. Here are the goals from 2018:

2018 Goals:
(1) Continue to prune back collection and focus more on tough Ruth cards. I've been able to save up some funds this past year, so I would like to pick up one "huge" card this coming year. Would love to get a T210 Jackson although that card is probably still beyond my means. The Cracker Jack Cobb is still very high on my list also.
Partial check? I really didn't pick up the one "huge" card that I was looking for. My highlight of the year was probably a 1925-29 Universal Toy Ruth card that most folks probably have never heard of. I did pick up another Headin' Home Ruth, a 1922 E121 Ruth Photo Montage, and a 1928 Star Player Candy Ruth (very trimmed), so can't really complain. Finally, I sold my M101-6 Ruth (NY) and my E122 Ruth.
(2) Continue to make progress on small sets (W519-2, W521, W590).
Check. Picked up a W519 Type 2 Collins and a W590 Gehrig.
2019 Goals:
Going to be more of the same as the last few years.
