Default Some help and advice needed for Wrigley trip

My wife surprised me with a quick and very spontaneous trip to Chicago to see a couple of Cubs/ Cardinals games next weekend (Sept 15 and 16).

I am flying into Ohare and meeting a friend who is also arriving approx the same time that morning. We have tickets at Wrigley for the 1:30 game that day, Friday, and then for the 3:30 game on Saturday. We will both be flying in with just a carry on. So here is some of my questions:

Is there a way to pay to store a bag at Wrigley so we don't have to go to the hotel first?

What is the best recommended way from the airport to Wrigley field? Don't mind spending a bit more for transport on the first day. Buses and subways are fine to get around after that.

There is a tour of the field at 8:30 on Saturday morning. Is it worth it? I've done the tour in Baltimore twice in the past and loved it but not every tour is the same.

If we do the tour we will be done by mid morning but the game doesn't start until 3:30 that afternoon. Is it worthwhile hanging around the stadium or should we find something else to do then come back?

Any and all advice on this trip will be appreciated. I've never been to Chicago. Going to Wrigley to a game is a lifelong dream but thought I really never would. I want to mKe this a great experience so thanks in advance far any and all help I might be able to receive.
