Up for your consideration is one of the most exquisite Red Sox programs that we have ever had the priviledge of offering to the public.

This is an extremely scarce example of a 1908 Boston Red Sox program that features a photograph of Hall of Famer Cy Young heaving a pitch on the front cover.

This example shows minor wear however displays exceptionally.

This program is from the July 21st double header between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Browns which took place in Boston. (remember that Fenway Park was not around yet)

We were able to easily identify the date of this program by matching up the lineups and scores to the corresponding dates.

The score of game 1 is written lightly in pencil atop the score card while the 2nd game is written even lighter below the smoke Weldon advertisement on the Boston section of the scorecard.

Boston went on to win both of these games due to errors which can be found on the newspaper clipping we provided in the final photo.

It is apparent to us that the fan who scored this unique scorecard took great pride in his or her work.

This program is absolutely loaded with Hall of Famers such as Cy Young, Tris Speaker, Bobby Wallace and Rube Waddell.

A true historical baseball artifact from a time when baseball was just a game.
