I got my only one in St. Louis on June 29, 1967...an Orlando Cepeda foul ball, with a big assist going to my Dad's timely block on two guys coming headlong after me to snag the thing. Cepeda signed it for me back in the 1980s.
Also have a Ted Williams foul ball caught by my uncle in Kansas City on July 24, 1956.
The one that got away would have likely killed me...a screaming foul shot from Bo Jackson at Yankee Stadium. It was a bullet, and I reflexively stuck out my left hand too late. It slammed into a seat a few rows back with a crack that made me realize how lucky I was to miss it.
