Steve M.about the cards that recently sold is that several had the 1908 copyright. The first series, 1907, had the player's name on the address side of the card in the short writeup. The 1908's have the player's name hand printed on the front of the card. To date I had only seen one 1907 with a 1908 copyright and that was Coughlin. I think that made the cards more desirable. Rob Silverman has a very interesting article on the Dietsche's in the Summer, 2006 issue of Old Cardboard, pages 31 to36. Good reading!
