Thank you, Patrick. Also, the Cliff Chambers card from the 1951 Bowman was based on the picture from the Pirate team issue. I have attached the Pirate team issue example. McCullough and Chambers bring up an interesting point about the series of pictures. On December 8, 1948 the Pirates traded Frankie Gustine and Cal McLish to the Chicago Cubs for Clyde McCullough and Cliff Chambers. This is one of a couple of points in there being two series. The other obvious point is that between the two series, by my count, there are 47 different subjects with 46 players and the manager, Billy Meyer. Just a wee bit of turnover. There are also at least six different players who had more than one pose.
