I like the leather re-enforcement on the toe of the cleat (where Vandy's foot would push off the rubber). But even better is the apparent "tipped finger" glove. I was aware of very early gloves like this from the 1800s, but don't think I've ever seen a 1940s tipped finger model.
Hoping one of the glove guys can shed some light on what maker/model of glove this might be...
