Just in case anyone thought that last night's glitch in the Heritage auction was an anomaly, today's live internet auction was equally as ridiculous if one was bidding from behind a computer screen. Other than getting disconnected every few seconds, I put in a bid on an item, it was accepted and apparently won the auction; when I subsequently checked all of my bids
on lots the winning bid on that item did not appear.

For what it's worth, somehow Mastro and REA have figured out how to run big auctions online; maybe it's time for Heritage to ditch the hieroglyphics, the multiple simultaneous auctions all with different rules, and the software that sucks. Just a thought from a customer.
