The "Curse of the Bambino" lives until the Red Sox become World Champions. Period. (This is one Ruth pinnacle that can't be trampled beneath baseball cleats by 162-game seasons, additional playoff games, steroid use or a monumental playoff choke.)

One the other hand, it looks like the Yankees may now have a curse of their own to live with...."The Curse of Arod". Seemingly a fitting reverse curse put on the Yankees by the Red Sox for stealing Arod (with the help of some legalese bs).

And don't forget collectors....don't step on the white line on your way to the dugout...or you may get there and find Mom has disposed of your shoebox of cards to make room for her knick-knack goodie basket.
