Yes, I meant the War of 1812, as well as the Seven Years War and the American War for Independence (Note I didn't say the Revolutionary War, it wasn't a revolution, but that's not a discussion for this forum).

Somehow we tend to forget about things that happened two hundred years ago and dismiss them as they weren't as significant as that which had happened within a more recent period of time.

Sadly, not only does the average person have limited knowledge or interest in current events as that first video shows, but most are completely, and sadly, clueless about history in general. But they do know who Oprah is...
